Who may have been born to a struggling stray, who may have been abandoned by the one they trusted most, who may be suffering in silence. Those who may be waiting patiently at a kill shelter praying their number does not come up next. Those who have lost the only trusted guardian they have known to death only to be then discarded when no one steps forward. Whatever the reason one may have landed at Gregory’s door they are always welcome, they will never be alone again and they will know that we believe their lives matter. When there is all the bright and shiny glitter and we all sit down with our family and friends for that holiday meal let us give thanks for all we have. Let us also be reminded of those that have not.
