- Burbank's Rose Parade floats are really giant, moving artworks that take to the streets of Pasadena on New Year's morning. Rather than canvas and oils, these art pieces are created from steel, wood, and foam then completely covered with floral materials! Designed, built and decorated entirely by volunteers from the community, our annual float project provides opportunities for fun, fellowship and teamwork. But floats cost money to build, and we need your help (ie. everyone's help) to raise money to complete our efforts.
